New entry porte cochere has been prepared for stone work. Building drainage pipe has been installed and ground graded.

The construction team has made significant progress on the exterior of the new clubhouse building over the past few weeks. The "Lakeside Lodge" aesthetic theme is really beginning to take shape.

Cedar shake siding work has started. 

Rock work on the north side of the building has been completed.

The new stand-alone Pro Shop is really beginning to take shape.

Trusses for outside porch have been delivered and porch roof framing continues.

Rock work has begun on the outside of the new clubhouse facility.

Tremendous progress has been made on the new Golf Pro Shop over the past week.

A host of sub-contractors, including; plumbers, electricians, cement masons/finishers, carpenters and stonemasons have all been on site over the past week as the renovation project continues to progress nicely!

Gable work is nearly complete.

New areas of focus this week include the HVAC system, construction of the club's new covered entrance and prep work for the installation of new windows.

Construction on the new clubhouse facility continued this week with work on the outside gables, prepping the outside of the building for new siding, installation of plumbing and electrical, new flooring on the outside deck area and installation of a new club sprinkler system. In addition, new HVAC equipment has been delivered and work on the new porte cochere and covered entrance is scheduled to begin later this week.

Architect Mark Deidrich visited the construction site on January 18 to conduct his bi-monthly walk through, and to meet with the J. Davis Construction project manager and club GM John Schoenbeck. Mark confirmed that the construction schedule is on target and remains confident in a June opening.

Inside, plumbing and electrical work continues. Outside, the foundation for new porte cochere and covered walkway has been poured. You can also see the facility exterior beginning to take shape!

A big thanks to J Davis Construction for their fantastic work through the holiday season!

Concrete was poured under the existing porte cochere. The new administrative offices will be located here. 


Steel support being installed in the porch area. Framing of this area will begin soon.

Work continued this week despite the inclement weather. The construction team from J. Davis has done a fantastic job managing through tough winter conditions and the project remains on track. Primary focuses this past week including pouring foundation for the new porch area, and the new space that will connect the two clubhouses.

Foundation for new porch area has been completed and cement is ready to be poured.

The new entryway connecting the main building with the Toxaway building is beginning to take shape. With the trusses now in place, it's easy to see how big and expansive the new area will feel once we're inside!

Over the past few weeks, the construction team has been focused on the area that will join the two existing clubhouses together. See images below to see the incredible progress that has been made!



October 24, 2016 - Demolition inside existing clubhouse continues. 

October 24, 2016 - New walls going up inside the Toxaway Building.

October 24, 2016 - The construction crew has been busy this week pouring footers between the two existing buildings.

October 19, 2016 - View from Toxaway Porch through the Toxaway Building. The walls between lunch area, kitchen, golf pro shop and locker rooms have been removed. 

October 12, 2016 - The concrete between the existing two buildings has been removed and grading is complete.
